Crazy Cooking Challenge- Strawberry Cheesecake Smoothie

Once again its time for the Crazy Cooking Challenge!

This month the challenge was to create a fruit smoothie. The only requirements were that the recipe must be a drink and must contain fruit. Easy enough, right?

My original plan was to make something with chocolate, banana & peanut butter. In my search for a recipe I saw this Strawberry Cheesecake Smoothie over at Cupcakes and Kale Chips. Right then and there I knew this was the perfect smoothie for me.

To make this smoothie you will need strawberries, banana, cream cheese, vanilla yogurt, & milk.

Blend it all together and voila….

Strawberry Cheesecake Smoothie.

This was sooooooo good. The cream cream cheese added a bit of a tang to the smoothie that I loved.

Feel free to get creative with this recipe. It would be awesome with raspberries or blueberries too.

And because I just cant resist the urge to make everything prettier, I garnished with some chocolate sprinkles, whipped cream and a strawberry.

It almost looks like a strawberry milk shake.

Here’s the recipe:

  1. I, too, made a strawberry cheesecake smoothie–I think if 3 of us made it, then it must be good! I love the addition of the chocolate sprinkles 🙂

  2. This was a popular smoothie, and I’ve never ever thought of using cream cheese! I must try! I have vowed to make smoothies once a day all summer long, breakfast or a dinner substitute on hot summer days and I can’t wait to try ALL of the Crazy Cooking Challenge recipes from this month. Thanks so much for participating.

  3. This is a recipe my Little Chefs would love and could whip up very easily. Thanks for linking up at Fantastic Thursday at Five Little Chefs. Hope to see you there next week!

    1. Thanks it was pretty good; I’ve made it a few times since minus the cool whip and sprinkles:( I love the extra flavor the cream cheese gives.
Thanks so much for featuring it!
