I’m really into the idea of desserts for two. I’m especially loving the cupcakes for two recipes I’m coming across lately. I wrote about some cherry vanilla cupcakes for two earlier this month that were a big hit. If you are interested you can read about them here. If you are still looking for a sweet treat for you’re special someone you might want to give these cupcakes a try. They only use one bowl and will be done about 30 minutes.
I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine’s Day! I’m kind of sad that there will be no more Valentine’s Day treats to bake for another year. I was having so much fun making them and enjoying everyone’s projects. But now I guess I can start focusing on the important stuff like Mardi Gras and St. Patty’s Day.
I topped my cupcakes with left over chocolate cream cheese frosting, but any frosting will do. The hearts and xo are made by melting white chocolate and covering them with sanding sugar. Directions for making them can be found here
